Scope of Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the ikon Technologies Terms and Conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). Please note that your use of, or access to, the Services and/or the Vehicle Information indicates your consent to both the Terms and Conditions and to activities of Ikon Technologies referenced in this Privacy Policy. Further, Ikon Technologies reserves all right to modify, restrict, change, or otherwise alter this Privacy Policy, in whole or in part and at any time, for any reason, without prior notice, and without incurring liability.

Nature of Company & Its Services

Ikon Technologies and its affiliates (“ikon Technologies” or the “Company”) provide technology services to car dealership partners through a wireless/mobile network cellular gateway using IoT and related technologies, which latter include integrated sensor and location information components (collectively “Services”). In the process, ikon Technologies collects information that may include your vehicle’s mileage, travel direction, coordinates, and other related information (“Vehicle Information”).

Information Collection & Sharing

This Privacy Policy aims to help you understand what information we collect. Ikon Technologies collects, stores, and shares your Vehicle, Contact and Image Information to facilitate communication between you and (a) the dealerships that purchase the Services,(b) other third parties connected to or affiliated with ikon Technologies, and (c) ikon Technologies’ trusted business partners and service providers. To ensure the privacy and protection of your data, all these activities are carried out in compliance with appropriate confidentiality and safeguarding measures designed to protect the security of your private data and your personally identifying information.

Ikon Technologies reserves the right to transfer or lease your Vehicle Information to business partners, independent third parties, providers of the Services, and its dealership partners and affiliates. Ikon Technologies may share Vehicle Information when it is required, or when it reasonably believes it is required, by law to share or disclose the Vehicle Information for the purposes of detection, prevention, or handling of fraud, security, criminal or technical issues, including the enforcement of the Terms and Conditions and of this Privacy Policy. Ikon Technologies will use all reasonable prudence, diligence, and care in its decision to disseminate, transmit, or otherwise communicate or share Vehicle Information with the Services’ providers, partners, and other third parties.

Communications with you, to which you hereby consent through accessing the Services, may be made via regular mail, telephone, email, text message, SMS, other electronic, physical or audio messaging media, the in-vehicle communication system, or the ikon Technologies website and/or applications. Please note: you should notify your dealership or ikon Technologies when you expect to sell, transfer, or dispose of your vehicle. Ikon Technologies does not share information that personally identifies you nor does it collect information based on sensitive categories such as race, religion, sexual orientation, or health.

Ikon Technologies implements systems, applications, and procedures to secure Vehicle Information, minimize the risk of theft, damage, loss of information, or other unauthorized access to, or use of, the Vehicle Information.

California Privacy Rights Notice: If you are a California resident, you have the right to request information from ikon Technologies regarding how we share certain categories of your information with third parties. California law provides that you have the right to receive information about the categories of information disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the previous calendar year, as well as the names and addresses of these third parties.
